Sauvignon Blanc - Chardonnay

Dry White Wine

Varietal Composition:
Sauvignon Blanc (70%) from the vineyard of Aharon Fadida in Moshav Kerem Ben Zimra (Upper Galilee area).
Chardonnay (30%) from the vineyard of Avshalom Karniel in Kfar Tabor (Lower Galilee area).

Production Highlights:
The grapes were handpicked and after gentle pressing underwent controlled slow fermentation to preserve the aroma of the fruit. In order to highlight the essential aromas of the fruit, the two varieties that went into this blend did not undergo malolactic fermentation or barrel aging.

Wine Characteristics:
The relatively early harvest Sauvignon Blanc with crisp hints of lemon and grapefruit and the late harvest Chardonnay with its ripe melon and floral notes create a pale green and excellently balanced wine with citrus and tropical fruit aromas and a refreshing tartness. It is medium-bodied with a long, gratifying finish.
Yogev Sauvignon Blanc–Chardonnay is ideal as an aperitif as well as an accompaniment for dishes such as risotto primavera and oven baked fish.
