Chardonnay (15%) from the vineyard of Avshalom Karniel in Kfar Tabor (Lower Galilee area)
Chardonnay (15%) from the vineyard of Avi Yehuda in Neve Ilan (Jerusalem Hills).
Production Highlights
The grapes were handpicked and after gentle pressing underwent controlled slow fermentation to preserve the aroma of the fruit. In order to highlight the essential aromas of the fruit, the two varieties that went into this blend did not undergo malolactic fermentation or barrel aging.
Wine Characteristics
The aroma of this pale green wine is graced with tropical scents and a slight herbality. It is medium-bodied with a pleasantly refreshing tartness and a long,
gratifying finish. Yogev Sauvignon Blanc – Chardonnay is ideal as an aperitif as well as an accompaniment for dishes such as risotto primavera and oven baked fish.
